Dr. Levi A. Reiter an Audiologist and professor at the Hofstra University, produced a new CD entitled “NO MACHLOKIS”. That’s right our own Dr. Reiter does the vocals, and Yossi Benshimon does the music. The result is a humorous well executed Rap with a good beat, a bit of an Afro-American twang, Chassidus, and a real message to Jewish communities everywhere.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

Dr.

The message reads something like “…we’re really one Neshoma, we follow the same drummer, but life can be a bummer if we lose the goal……” The goal is “Achdus”, and to get there we’ve got to say “No!” to machlokis. One of the uniquely fun aspects of this piece is that track 2 is the translation of track 1 from English to “Yinglish”.

In case you don’t know, Dr. Reiter is an Audiologist who tests hearing and dispenses hearing aids in Crown Heights. He is also Professor, and Audiology Program Head at Hofstra University in Long Island.

The CD, “NO MACHLOKIS” can be purchased at local Judaica stores.

If my kids listen to the cd too loud, Dr. Reiter may be getting more business.

We should have no more machlokes and be able to listen to this during the three weeks with the geula shlaima now.

dr reiter’s article in the latest nshei chabad newsletter (kislev) is still in stores, if you didn’t read it get hold of it quick before they get rid of those and get in the chof bais shvat issue — dr reiter is RIGHT ON about the danger of loud noise at weddings
