Hatzolah EMS Credited with Saving Man’s Life In Accident in the Catskills

A man believed to have died in a two-car crash on Route 17 eastbound in the Town of Thompson was revived by emergency medical services personnel from the Hatzolah ambulance service.

State Police said the driver of a car that was struck in the rear, Lee Cone, Jr., 61, of Ellenville, was originally though to have succumbed to his injuries, but Hatzolah EMS was able to obtain a pulse and he was transferred to Garnett Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill in critical condition.
