Israeli Seriously Wounded in Chevron Stabbing Attack
A 40-year-old Israeli man was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack near the Me’aras Hamachpelah in Chevron today, Monday.
The victim sustained stab wounds to his upper body and was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
Police officers on the scene opened fire on the terrorist, hitting him and subduing him. His condition is not currently known.
ZAKA volunteer David Edrai said: “We received notification of a terror attack near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron. I arrived at the scene with two other ZAKA volunteers. There we saw a seriously wounded Israeli who was evacuated to hospital. The terrorist had been shot dead.”
