Israeli Soldier Killed on Gaza Border
Golani Brigade Staff-Sergeant Netanel Moshiashvili, 21, was killed along the Gaza border by Islamic Jihad gunfire on Friday morning, 11 Sivan 5772. The shooting occurred near the Kissufim area.
The fatal incident occurred during the predawn hours. The terrorists succeeded in overcoming the border separation and entering Israel under the cover of darkness and fog. Terrorists then began firing rockets into southern Israel, striking the area of the Gaza border communities.
The Israel Air Force retaliated with surgical strikes against terrorists targets. Reports from Gaza indicate at least three terrorists have been eliminated. Terrorists have also been firing rockets into southern Israel and area residents have been moved to heightened alert status as a result.
Funeral services for the fallen soldier HY”D to be announced.
Today’s fatal incident occurred less than 24 hours after Israel handed over the bodies of Hamas terrorists to the terrorist government in Gaza as another good-will confidence-building gesture.

Residents of Southern Israel will not have to move out of their “building”.
