FALSE RUMOR: Murderers of Menachem Stark NOT Arrested
Reports that the killers of Williamsburg landlord Menachem Stark have been arrested have unfortunately proven to be unsubstantiated rumors.
The Yeshiva World News confirms that the rumors have been debunked by the NYPD:
YWN has been flooded with emails in the past hour claiming that a suspect has been arrested in the murder of Menachem Stark HY”D. Social media has been forwarding the rumor, with one large twitter account going as far as saying that a suspect had been arrested in JFK Airport.
YWN has spoken with highly-credible, high-ranking brass of the NYPD, and can report with certainty, that there has been no arrest as of this time. There is not even a person of interest being sought. There are hundreds of leads that detectives are working on, and many people are being interviewed and spoken to, but there is absolutely no suspect in police custody.
This is a developing story. It will be updated with more details as they become available.
