Facebook Replaces Israel with Palestine

Inexplicably, Facebook has managed to do what Ahmadinejad can only dream of: wipe Israel off the map.

Crownheights.info double checked the claim, and we can verify as of the publication of this article that it is absolutely true.

When you click on the option to turn on text messaging, Facebook promts you to fill in your country and mobile carrier; but scrolling down the list of countries, you will not find Israel between Isle of Man and Italy. You will, however, find find Palestine listed futher down in the list.

It’s easy to call this anti-Semitism, but what it really is is modern-day liberalism.

See, if you’re young, hip, and cool in America today, you’ve got to have and believe certain things to be “in.” This pretty much applies to anyone who’s under 30, has gone to college and is part of the secular mainstream.

These things include (but are not limited to): Being a member of the Democratic Party, thinking that anything done or said by any Republican/conservative/right-winger is automatically evil, having the latest and most expensive PDA, being on Facebook and Twitter all the time, wearing the latest and hottest fashions, and supporting the latest and hottest causes–like environmentalism/global warming, gay rights, animal rights, the Occupy Everywhere movement, and, of course, the myth of the persecuted, occupied little Palestinians and those big evil occupier Israelis.

Seems Facebook and Mr. Zuckerberg just want to show whoever that, “Hey, we’re with it!” After all, Facebook is the ultimate “Hey, I’m with it!” of today.

being into all the hot causes

Apparently they say the reason is that no Israeli cell phone company participates in their program, while there is at least one participating company in the “Palestinian” territories. That explains Israel being missing, but it doesn’t explain inventing a country that doesn’t exist. If “Palestinian Territories” is too long for the field, they can abbreviate it to “Pal’n Terr” or something.

  • proud of our Holy Land

why does being hip need to be anti Israel?
seams like Antisemitism is seeking up at us from within our own hip society. The enemies of Israel have penetrated our society and even our culture.
it may not be cool to stick up for our country but if we don’t who will?

  • Not a political statement!

Hey guys relax! You are arriving at conclusions too quickly! Israeli cell phone company’s are the only one’s that don’t support Facebook’s text system however their neighbor “Watania Telecom” does and that’s the reason for it…

Powerful as it may be, even Facebook could not withstand a concerted effort at boycotting it.

Any organization, and particularly one whose leadership is so obviously Jewish (practicing or not), that does the work of our enemies should suffer the consequences.

Turning off your Facebook pages is the only way to give the message that despite what our enemies (Jewish and non-Jewish) may try, the Jewish people truly does, and always will, live!

so when is everyone going to boycott facebook and show that they have a backbone?
    and that they support Israel?

  • So not cool

Someone should contact facebook and make sure they put Israel back on the map. If this is about being “in” then they can put both.

Now its time to leave Facebook & to go to Google + circles…. – its just like Facebook.
We will show Facebook that the Jews DO mean Everything

  • Ruchama

Amazing how calling it “modern day liberalism” somehow means it’s not anti-semitic when “modern day liberalism” is just politically sanctioned “anti-semitism” in disguise.

why would they list it if their service doesn’t support it? you don’t write on a website you accept discover credit cards if you don’t! as for friend my Israeli friends… they are listed as they live in “Israel”.. everyone chill…

Right, they can’t so, so in your face blantently bias like that. “So, we need an excuse. Hey! How about that mobile app that produces NO REVENUE for us? I’m sure we can make that sound like a REALLY big deal and we just have NO choice….then we’ll just slip in Palestine.”

  • Rodeif Shalom

Are we not supposed to give a fellow Jew the benefit of the doubt? why so quick to make accusations? i seriously doubt this is about being “hip” or “liberal,” and what is so anti-jewish about caring about the way our planet and the creatures G-D put on it are treated, and what does that have to do with the topic at hand? It would be a poor business move to ostracize Israel from facebook, would it not? I think perhaps sending a letter of concern would be more proper than cursing, Chas V’shalom, a fellow jew on the internet. “With righteousness, judge your neighbor” right? I could be wrong. Its important for us to know about the situation just in case, but most of us do not know enough to make claims beyond the verified facts.

You’re absolutely right, they should abbreviate it to say Pal’n Terr, which can also translate into Palestinian Terrorist, totally true!

There are hundreds of people who work for fbook and make its decisions, Mark Zuckerburg may not even be aware of it.
But let’s put the Jew card aside and imagine this really was the sole choice of mark himself, but let’s imagine he wasn’t Jewish so that way we CAN express our dissent over the fact that a made-up country who makes up false claims about Israeli “oppresion” and wants the death of all Jews and teaches the most outragious things about Jews. (Such as moodern day blood libels or math problems like “you have 5 Jews and kill 3”) in their textbooks…and they put up this “country” in their blind worship of propoganda.

  • Mee

Did they “take israel out” ? Or was it not there to begin with?
Was Palestine ( which is its own functioning territory) always there? I think so… Pot joirnpulism crownheights.info .. Lack of research

What are you talking about?! Nonsense.
I can see you like to write, but let’s stick to reality.

  • asdfghjkl

The owner of facebook is jewish and when you are at a high place
so its hard to do the right thing with every one looking at him.

Where does it say in the Torah that one must use facebook. If the Torah does not require it, than Israel should ignore it.
