70,000 Flock to Kever Rochel for Yahrtzeit

An estimated 70,000 Jews visited Kever Rochel in the West Bank city of Beis Lechem yesterday, on the Matriarch’s Yahrtzeit – 11 Cheshvan.

For the first time in a number of years the day’s events went smoothly without any significant issues.

A large police and IDF presence was maintained, and numerous volunteer organizations took part in the coordination, including Zaka and United Hatzalah.
