Abed Alaziz Salaha waves his blood-covered hands after the Ramallah lynching.

“The government lied to all the bereaved families. They promised the bereaved parents that the terrorists would never get out. Ehud Barak made a personal promise to me that this terrorist would never see the light of day. I knew that day that he had lied to me. I told everyone that it was only a matter of time before the next deal. I saw the Goldwasser and Regev deal and I knew that it was only a matter of time before the murderers of my brother are released.”

Outrage: This Man to Be Released!?

Abed Alaziz Salaha waves his blood-covered hands after the Ramallah lynching.

“The government lied to all the bereaved families. They promised the bereaved parents that the terrorists would never get out. Ehud Barak made a personal promise to me that this terrorist would never see the light of day. I knew that day that he had lied to me. I told everyone that it was only a matter of time before the next deal. I saw the Goldwasser and Regev deal and I knew that it was only a matter of time before the murderers of my brother are released.”

The painful monologue above belongs to Michael Norzich, brother of Vadim, who was murdered by a mob in Ramallah in the year 2000. Michael said that no one called to tell him that one of the murderers of his brother is included in the list of 477 prisoners who will be released as part of the first phase of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal.

Abed Alaziz Salaha, who was photographed in the horrific photo with his hands covered with blood in what has become the symbol of the second intifada, was sentenced to life in prison but is expected to be released on Tuesday.

“The pain is stronger today,” Michael told Ynet. “Not because of the deal itself but because of the way it is carried out. It is not a deal but a major loss. It is a twisted deal. You don’t release at any cost. There is a price. You cannot give it all.”

On the one hand, the bereaved brother says, the family is happy for the parents and siblings who will see their son Gilad Shalit come home. “On the other hand, our family is angry that nobody cared about our sensitivity. No one (in the government) experienced our pain,” he said.

Michael does not feel any pity for the families of the Palestinian prisoners. “They are all the devil’s children. I don’t feel sorry for them and not for the tears of their mothers. A mother that sends her child to blow up?!”

The Ramallah lynch took place on October 12, 2000, when a mob of Palestinians murdered two IDF soldiers, Vadim Norzich and Yossi Avrahami, and mutilated their bodies.

The lynch occurred at the start of the al-Aqsa Intifada and despite attempts by the Palestinian Authority to erase any documentation of the brutal murder, the horrific images reached every corner of the world and sent shockwaves in Israel.

Salaha, 30, from the village of Dir Jarid near Ramallah, was arrested in 2001 and admitted that he was part of the mob that stormed the police station, and that he strangled one of the soldiers while the others beat him.

When he saw that his hands were covered with the soldiers’ blood, he went to the window to proudly show his hands to the mob below.

  • I Hope

I hope this is so that they can finally kill him, because in the Israeli prison system there is no death penalty, it is more dangerous for a terrorist on the street then in and Israeli jail.

  • wow

    thats disgusting.
yes it is a fellow yid in prison, but theres no way you can agree to such a deal. this deal shows on israel a lot of courage and weakness at the same time.
if it was my family yes i would say otherwise, but i dont see how israel can agree to release 1000 murderers who will go and do it all over again! disgusting.
all we can hope is the rebbe will be misgaleh himself as moshiach and end it all…

  • Disgusting and outrageous.

So now we know how much Jewish blood is worth. If the Israel gov lets this piece of garbage out then the person responsible for including him in the so called “deal” should take his place or be shot.
    Disgusting and outrageous.

This basically tells us – if G’d forbid there is another terrorist act against Jews by these Mamzeirim, soldier or civilian – catch them and kill them on the spot – because if they get tossed into prison, they will eventually get out, to a heroes welcome, while Jewish blood is spilled.

The next time one of the terrorists from Hamas does something, it should be the response of the israeli government to level the whole land and to saturate the smuggling tunnels and if obama or the rest of the world objects, just tell them to but out of our business of protecting our citizens from mass murders.

The problem is, from day one (at least since 1967) Israel has viewed both land and now unfortunately terrorists, as expendable currency.

If there had been a death penalty, by this point in time, this evil person would have been long in Geihinom.

Imagine, R“L, in 10 years, Israel releasing the barbaric sons of Yishmael Yimas”h,who butchered the Fogel family of Itamar…in lieu of “Muslim prisoners – baloshon Sagi Nahor -).

  • well,

This is an incredibly dangerous deal and I am still in shock that the Israeli gov’t accepted it. Yes, one should do all that is in their power to save even one of their soldiers, but not at any cost. This will not only directly endanger many people once these prisoners are freed, but it will also set up a dangerous “diplomatic” precedent in which the other side may conclude kidnapping Israeli soldiers is a handy way to get their thousands released.

I shudder at the thought of some of those people about to be released walking freely among fellow human beings.

כל מי שנעשה רחמן במקום אכזרי סוף שנעשה אכזרי במקום רחמן

This is a very bad move on so many levels.
Unfortunately, the whole situation is a lose-lose one. :( Gilad’s life and freedom are very valuable, and the suffering of his family very real, but the pain of the families of those murdered by these prisoners, and of G’d forbid future victims as a result of this deal, are also very real and very valuable.

i agree and this exactly what would happen, the Israeli government learned from mistakes They know what they’re doing

It’s impossible to just kill terrorists when they’re captured, because if a soldier does so he will go to prison. Even if he is given an order to kill, IDF soldiers are trained that this is an illegal order and if they obey it they will go to prison. So it won’t happen, even if the government wanted it to.

I’m quite sure the Mossad identified all the participants in the above picture, hunted them down, and put a silenced 9mm full jacketed round through their foreheads.

Nevertheless, I’m sure there are many other dogs about to be released. Perhaps they too will be hunted down. The next day’s newspaper should read like this “1000 terrorists found dead under mysterious circumstances. Israeli’s claim to know nothing about it.”

  • Beyond sick

This sends a message to Hamas loud and clear: You CAN get away with murder. Just kidnap a Jew, and to get him back Israel will release MASS MURDERERS. It only encourages them to attempt more kidnappings! A Hamas spokesman already hinted to this, saying “Israel should release ALL prisoners, so prisoner swaps of this type will be unnecessary”. In other words, an Arab who commits a terrorist act and kills people shouldn’t even be imprisoned; he should be sent on a bus back to Gaza to a hero’s welcome. This whole thing is beyond belief and beyond sick!!!

  • Simcha

Hashem is just showing us how dark this galus can get!

May Hashem avenge the murder of those soldiers back in 2000 and wipe out this evil off this earth and may their names and all our enemy names be blotted out forever!

    Bring Moshiach NOW!

  • Milhouse

#16, can’t you read? How can you be “quite confident” about something that the article explicitly states is not true? The person with the red hands is NOT dead, he’s in an Israel prison and he’s ABOUT TO BE RELEASED.

  • Milhouse

The woman who planned the Sbarro massacre is also going to be released. She was sentenced to SIXTEEN consecutive life sentences, and yet she will now serve less than ten years. At her sentencing she laughed and said that she would soon be out; now we see that she was right.

the Rebbe spoke at length Motzoei Shabbos Bamidbar 5739 (1979) about the absurdity in releasing 76 terrorists for one soldier, explaining that this will lead to exhorbitant demands in the future and to the kidnapping of many more soldiers.

The Rebbe mentioned that is obvious that these terrorists will return to murder Jews, thus placing many more Jews in danger of life, and compared this deal to someone who is receiving a torrent of spit and is rejoicing thinking that it is blessed rain…
