New Site Offers Jewish Perspective on 9/11
A new section on the Judaism website Chabad.org offers a Jewish perspective on the tragic events of 10 years ago and the efforts of those who continue to respond to the darkness of the Sept. 11 attacks by adding goodness to the world.
Asking what “we have learned as Jews, as Americans and as people,” the section, which can be found at www.chabad.org/9-11, features a new short film entitled “The Covenant,” a series of powerful interviews with the “Chaplain of Ground Zero,” Col. Jacob Z. Goldstein, inspirational articles and commentaries, and reflections from those who lived through the attacks.
In addition, readers are invited to submit their own thoughts and memories by telling where they were on that fateful 2001 day.
The section was produced in cooperation with Chabad.org’s multimedia portal Jewish.TV.
