There are only a few weeks left until we change the clocks back, and children will no longer to be able to enjoy the show while still making it to bed in time for school on Sunday. The upcoming few shows will be extra special with new stories and prizes!
Jewish Kids Radio show began airing years ago and was broadcasted on rented airtime from WSNR 620 AM, but costs and other considerations ultimately silenced show in 2006 until this year, where in a special partnership with CrownHeights.info we brought the show back to the delight of the many new young listeners.
New segments are pre-recorded and aren’t broadcasted over the radio, rather we opted for the far cheaper and much more effective route, the internet. This enabled us to reach all Jewish children, and not only those only in New York City.
Despite being pre-recorded the show is just as interactive, kids still call in their answers to the weekly questions to special hotline. The shows also remain just as relevant with each show focusing in the upcoming weeks Chassidishe Yomim Tovim, and Parasha of the week.
The answers call-in line is open from 6:30pm on Motzai Shabbos (EST) through Sunday 7:00pm (EST) so that children from around world can participate, and still have a chance at winning that weeks prizes.
