As he’s working on this new album, Baryo just recorded the song “Anhim Zmiros” with the melody composed by the Lubavitch Rebbe along with a few of his own notions. Although this song won’t be included in his upcoming album, it already has some positive impact on everyone listening to it. The young yet talented musician Eli Asraf added some of his musical notions. Avi Singolda added some of his guitar skills. Here, you can preview this interesting outcome of the upcoming musical career of Baryo.

At least two investors are already showing interest in producing Baryo’s album. This Album is going to be full of surprises and new musical touch that is yet to be heard in the world of Jewish Music. The person behind the scenes who is in charge of Baryo’s public relations is Avi Kalmarski, a former editor for the Music Magazine “SHIRU LO” and currently a writer for “MISHPACHA” Magazine. Avi already has great experience promoting many musicians and singers.

Shortly, Baryo’s music will be available to download for Apple’s iPod & iPhone.

  • A song from Oilam Haba

quote from main article“Baryo just recorded the song “Anhim Zmiros” with the melody composed by the Lubavitch Rebbe” small correction;the rebbe taught the song of a yid who was promised by a Jew who he bailed out of prison only to find that he was dead. the jew came to him in a dream and asked him what he would like as repayment. to which he responded “i would like to feel Oilam Haba” to which he replied “on this year Yom Kippur you will feel Oilam Haba” that Yom Kippur he felt Oilam Haba, and started to sing this song and did not stop till many hours after Yom Kipper. (as told by the Rebbe in a Yechidus when asked where the song came from.)

thank yo “A SONG FROM OHLOM HABO” thant is very interesting and good to see chassidishe posts !!!!!

  • stay true to original

grat voice…but…why must he change distort and destroy the original beauty of anim zmiros as taught to us by the rebbe. if he is indeed a composer, he should know better than to play with and distort anothers composition…and all those oys and oys and oys, over and over again…just not needed. if he wants to hear anim zmiros the way it should be sung, i direct him to meir rivkins cd on the rebbes niggunim. if anyone out there has the “expressions of the soul” cd and has the tech knowhow to create a link of this song from the cd, he would be doing all of us a great service. if i knew how to do this i would do it myself.

I think that someone needs to explain to him that when he changes the song he takes out the spirituality from the song. If he considers himself a friend of Chabad, he should not only not include the song in his upcoming album, he should also never publish it at all!

If he wishes to sing a modern song, he can compose it. If he wishes to sing a nigun, he can sing the original, but the two don’t mix and match.

  • s.s.

not to be mean but most people prefer listening to someone who can sing clearly. he definitely is a candidate for speech therapy and it really does work..speaking from first hand experience.

  • CHabad Menagen

This is DEFINITELY NOT the Rebbe’s An’im zemiros. It has some similarities but is definitely a different song… Nothing of the expression of the Rebbe’s Nigun is heard and comes through here at all. Stick to your own songs that you’ll know best how to express…

  • DBI

This guy tried out for the Israeli Version of American Idol /kochav nolad they didn’t take him, but his audition was very funny.

  • A regular person

I can’t believe people are being so narrow-minded about him having a slight speech. Gosh people get out of your little prejudiced minds and move into the world that the rest of us live in!!! Try it, you might find it more enjoyable then the tiny insular world you live in now! Then you’d actually be able to appreciate sweet music like this when it comes along….

  • So good!!!!!!!

Listened a few times already…..it has something nicely different about it…

  • Zalman

  • Learn to be happy for other people!!!

Very well done!!! I did not notice anything wrong with the way he sings… Amazing voice!!! I think people are just jealous!!!!!

  • to the person who finds faults

To the person who thought there is a problem with his speech and needed speech therapy… You obviously are seeing a therapist of a different kind or maybe a psychiatrist for your distorted mental capacity. G-d blessed him with a beautiful voice. I am not surprised you found a problem with an amazing performance you jealous dweeb.

  • Learning for Biology exam...

This is definitely making it a lot easier…must have listened to it like 15 times already….
