Ceasefire Fails To Go Into Effect, IDF Strikes Terror Targets in Gaza

As the Ceasefire was set to go into effect Sunday morning, the IDF announced that implementation of the ceasefire was delayed over a list of the three hostages slated to be released on the first day. As per the IDF, the list, which was supposed to be handed over 24 hours in advance, has not been given.

Without that list in hand, the IDF continued operations in Gaza, striking terror targets in the center and north of the strip.

“As of this morning, Hamas has not fulfilled its obligation, and contrary to the agreement, has not provided the State of Israel with the names of the returning female hostages. The ceasefire will not come into effect so long as Hamas does not fulfill its obligations,” Hagari said.
