HY”D: Two IDF Soldiers Killed On Lebanese Border

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit cleared for publication on Monday morning that two soldiers were struck by a mortar and killed on the Lebanese border.

Master Sergeant Etay Azulay, aged 25, from Oranit, a soldier in Unit 5515, and Warrant Officer (res.) Aviv Magen, 43, of the elite 5515 combat mobility unit, from Herut, fell during combat on the Lebanese border.

During the incident in which the two soldiers fell, an additional soldier from Unit 5515 were severely injured.

The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and their families have been notified.
