Delta And United Are Canceling Flights To Israel Again

Daniel Eleff – DansDeals

After Israel’s assassination of Hamas top political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukrin in Beirut, US airlines are once again suspending their flights to Israel.

Delta has canceled its JFK to Tel Aviv flight today and tomorrow and its Tel Aviv to JFK flights on Thursday and Friday.

United has canceled its Newark to Tel Aviv flights from today through August 6th and its Tel Aviv to Newark flights through August 7th.

If Iran or its proxies escalate the war, I’d expect those flights to be further delayed.

When Iran responded to the killing of its generals in Syria with hundreds of killer drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles, the US airlines suspended service to Israel for 2 months.

US airlines have to overnight their crew in Tel Aviv, meaning that they are the first to cancel flights when it appears the war will escalate.

Lufthansa will be adding stops in Larnaca on its flights.

Once again, El Al is operating as normal and is really the only option worth booking if its critical that you fly, until the war is over.

Let’s all pray for the safety of Israel and her inhabitants, along with a return of the hostages, and victory against Iran and its Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi proxies. May we experience true peace in the holy land and around the world very soon!
