Houthi Rebels Hijacked Israeli Owned Cargo Ship in the Red Sea, No Israelis On Board

The Saudi news station al-Hadath reported on Sunday that Houthi rebels in Yemen had hijacked the “Israeli cargo ship” Galaxy Leader, which was sailing in the Arabian Gulf.

According to the report, there were 22 crew members on board. No additional sources have confirmed the report. The Houthi military spokesman is promising a statement in the coming hours.

The report claims that the ship is carrying cars and belongs to Israeli businessman Rami Ungar, but none of the crew members are Israelis.
