Israel Announces 31st Casualty In Gaza War

The Israeli military has announced the 31st casualty in the war in Gaza with the death of Staff Sgt. Shahar Cohen Mivtach, 22, of the 401st Brigade’s 9th Battalion, from Karmiel.

Shahar fell in battle Sunday bringing the casualty count of Israeli soldiers who have died in the battle for Gaza to 31.

Over the last 24 hours the Israeli Air Force has attacked 450 targets in the Gaza strip and eliminated the head of Special Security in the strip, Jamal Musa.

Over the last few days the IDF has also secured a complete line of advance which splits Gaza into a northern and southern section, with soldiers creating a humanitarian corridor along the costal road and allowing civilians to evacuate from the northern section of the strip.
