3 Israelis Soldiers Stabbed in 2 Terror Incidents

Earlier today, an Israeli Arab stabbed and moderately wounded an 18-year-old IDF soldier near the central bus station in Jerusalem, before he was overpowered by security guards and police.  A few hours later, Israeli soldiers shot dead two Palestinians who had stabbed two soldiers at a West Bank checkpoint.

In the first incident, Israeli police report that the man followed the soldier as he walked down HaTsvi Street in Jerusalem, and stabbed him in the upper body. The man then tried to stab the soldier again, but the soldier pushed him to the ground and moments later, a security guard came and kicked the knife away from the attacker and held him until officers arrived.

The terrorist was identified as a 30-year-old Arab Israeli citizen.

The young soldier was moderately wounded and given first aid treatment by passersby, who helped stop the bleeding until paramedics arrived to evacuate him.

In the second incident, Yeshiva World News reports that two Arab terrorists approached IDF soldiers operating near the Tapuach Junction in the West Bank. They pulled knives and stabbed the first soldier. The second soldier opened fire and killed him. The second terrorist stabbed the second soldier and he too was shot and killed. The soldiers, in moderate and light condition, were transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.
