The man seen in the center of the picture [red shirt] has received quite some attention from the local residents of Crown Heights. Driving around in an old beat up red convertible hassling people for money and giving out cigarettes to young kids, among other various accusations.
After Shomrim received numerous calls from resident complaining about this man, he was confronted and asked to leave the neighborhood, and when he didn’t comply Shomrim had taken action with the local police to have him forcefully removed. During the time it took for this to go trough he had managed to get into lots of fights with Bochurim outside 770 [up to 3 in one night] and other groups of people.
Tonight [at appx. 1:00am] Shomrim received yet another call to 770 complaining about him, and when they got there he refused to leave 770, so one of the members picked up his phone to his father, the man who had kicked his son out of his house, he was in utter shock that Shomrim had possessed this information on him, and spoke with his father who told him you are not welcome there so please just leave and go home to which he replied “what home?”, Shortly after he had left.
Confrontation diffused by his father!

He has been spotted all around Brooklyn, Boro Park to Flatbush and Crown Heights, in all those places he had received far worse treatments then in our neighborhood. And in all places one thing ones unanimous, LEAVE! But the message never really got across. Now he has no car due to it being impounded by the police for outstanding parking tickets. Maybe he will take the hint now?

to "a fellow jew":
i totally agree with you. i feel bad for him, he may be unwanted for all types of things but still, he needs help.
Sholomke
i agree with the two commentators proceeding me. I think that it is not Shmira (alone) that should respond to such cases, but rather there need be formed some division who can deal with such people / cases suitably and professionally.
dont like what im reading
I also agree. I dont feel by kicking hime out everywhere will be good for him. he wont learn, If know one will teach him the way and keep kidding him out!
i agree
i agree 100% with the 3 above…its mentioned in the article that he was kicked out of Brooklyn, Boro Park to Flatbush and Crown Heights mayb not kicked out of but treating harshly…someone mayb (shomrim) should try and sit with the guy and find out whats wrong i mean common if he has no home and ur kicking him out were do u want the guy to go? and secondly if im not mistaken it says somewere in this article that he was treated pretty badly in the other places..well that says a lot for CH (i think) that we didnt treat him that badly..KEEP IT UP! and someone ought to help him…
MFH
i too must agree to all the above; there should be some type of place or homeless shelter in CH that should deal with these people, but should be managed with brains
some one who cares about CH
YOUR ALL WRONG. We dont need people like this hanging out in ch it is not good for the younger genaration. we have enough problems to worry about and hes not one. Yes he needs help and all but "NOT" from us.

some one who cares about CH wrote
