New Yorkers to Receive Up to $400 From Inflation Refund Check
Inflation refund checks are coming to New Yorkers’ wallets once the $254 billion state budget is finalized, Gov. Kathy Hochul said on Tuesday.
Around $2 billion is set aside in the budget for the checks, which were originally announced last year.
“I promised New Yorkers to fight like hell to put money back in their pockets and make our streets and subways safer. That’s exactly what this budget will do,” Hochul said.
