China Retaliates Against Trump with 34% Tariff on US Imports

New York Post

China struck back against President Trump’s sweeping “Liberation Day” tariffs Friday by slapping the US with its own 34% tariff on imports and announcing curbs on some key rare materials — further heightening the trade war between Washington and Beijing.

The new double-digit tariff on imports of all US products will be imposed from April 10, China’s finance ministry said.

The move is in retaliation for Trump on Wednesday hitting China with a “reciprocal” 34% tariff on Chinese exports — on top of the 20% levy he imposed earlier this year.

Trump might right or he might be wrong. But for sure he should have a plan to gradually acheive his goal. Not be a school bully’

You realize that “I don’t know what his plan is” and “he doesn’t have a plan” are two very different things, right? You are not the measure of all things.

Interesting. You know, all the comments are here for all to see, and anyone without an axe to grind can see pretty clearly that there’s no “bullying” or “insulting” in my comments. If, as Chazal say, a person doesn’t lie about things that are easily verifiable, then in what category are those who do so?

Is it possible to be bullied when everyone comments as an anonymous avatar of their choosing ?

The one failing of the CH Shchuna is the fear of being a political dissident by the oligarchy – this is why we have “Irish” and “Indian” avatar commenters.

This results in others also becoming avatars and not speaking out as individuals with disclosed names.

We all agree that for Isreal, Trump is the best USA president. The concern is if he is best for the economy of the USA? Whatever the answer, doesn’t the safety of Israel come before the change in your pocket?! Israel’s survival should come way before the USA economy, stock prices, or getting cheap clothes from China. Anyone thinking differently, shame on them.
