Child Tax Credit Are Back In New York State, Families to Receive One Time Payment This Year
Millions of dollars were allocated in the state budget to help moderate- and low-income families.
“Meaning 1 million New York families with children will be receiving a check in the mail by the end of August,” said Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday.
Through the Empire State Child Tax Credit, families can receive a supplemental payment of up to $330 per child.
