Coca-Cola Recalls Coca-Cola and Sprite12-oz Cans Due to the Potential Presence of Foreign Matter

The Coca-Cola Company is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of Coca-Cola and Sprite packaged in 12-oz. cans due to the potential presence of foreign matter, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Nov. 24.

The following items are affected by this recall:

• Coca-Cola 12 ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM B
• Coca-Cola 12 ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM C
• Sprite 12 ounce cans: Date Code: AUG 1522 WM B

Customers who have these should throw them out, or return them for a full refund.

    As far as I’m concerned, the “foreign matter” in Coke is High Fructose Corn Syrup. I remember when Coke was made with cane sugar, it tasted great. When they switched to Corn Syrup, they ruined it. Plus I think it got a lot worse, health wise.
