Hezbollah Claims To Have 100,000 Trained Fighters

In a speech from Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, the terrorist organizations leader claimed that it has 100,000 trained fighters, according to a report by the Associated Press.

“We have prepared (those fighters) with their diverse weapons to defend our territory, our oil and gas that is being robbed before the eyes of Lebanese, to protect the dignity and sovereignty of our country from any aggression (and) terrorism and not for internal fighting,” Nasrallah said, according to AP.

The claim, which appears to have been aimed at scaring other paramilitary Lebanese organizations, is near impossible to verify.

The attempt to subdue the other organizations comes as the country faces increased financial woes and internal conflict, leading to bouts of violence that have seen shootouts in the middle of city streets.
