Crown Heights Schools Relaunch Grab-N-Go Meals This Summer

by CrownHeights.info

Five Crown Heights schools have joined together to host a Summer Food Service Program offering children eighteen and younger free breakfast and lunch Grab-N-Go meals throughout this summer for those not receiving meals elsewhere.

The program follows a similar highly successful one last summer which provided healthy and wholesome meals to Crown Heights children during the height of COVID-19.

According to an email sent out by the schools, children not attending any summer program will get meals for seven days a week, while children attending a summer program during weekdays will get weekend meals.

To register, you must sign up online at https://crowngng.com.

Once approved, you will receive an email asking you to log into your account to schedule your pickup. Meals will be distributed weekly.

These meals are only available for children not receiving meals from any other Grab-N-Go sites or getting meals on days that they attend a Camp program.

The five schools who are participating in the program are Oholei Torah, Lubavitcher Yeshiva, Darchai Menachem, Bais Rivkah and Bnos Menachem.

Only parents or guardians can pick meals for their families. Please note that supplies are limited. Registration will close when the schools limit has been reached.

Update: The packages are being given out each Tuesday and Thursday, and you do noyt have to be affiliated with any particular school to participate.
