Ten Yad – A Tribute to Our Rebbetzin
For the past 36 years, Ten Yad has been providing vital assistance to Kallahs in need.
The gowns, linen, dishes and homeware that we gift to new Kallahs serve as a lifeline to young women approaching the most significant moment in their life without the sufficient financial resources necessary to celebrate a wedding and set up a home.
This year, more Kallahs than ever before turned to us for assistance, due to the physical and financial ripple effect that COVID – 19 brought upon the world.
Join us in our mission to help every single Kallah who reaches out to us for assistance.
In 5749 (1989), after the Rebbetzin’s passing on Chof Beis Shvat, Ten Yad was rededicated to her memory.
In the spirit of “and the living shall take to heart” as we approach Chof Beis Shvat, the Rebbetzin’s yahrtzeit, we invite you to perpetuate her legacy of kindness and generosity by contributing to Ten Yad in her memory.
“It is proper that gifts be given to charity in multiples of 470, the numerical equivalent of the Rebbetzin’s name. ‘May those who lie in the dust arise and sing,’ with the coming of the complete and ultimate Redemption; may it be in the immediate future. …Whoever increases in all the above is even more praiseworthy not only giving 470 small coins… but large coins.” (Likkutei Sichos, 22 Shevat, 5750)
All support is appreciated and enables us to help even more Kallahs as they approach their wedding day and young couples as they prepare to spend the rest of their lives together.
