‘Highly Impactful’ Winter Storm Set to Slam Northeast

The Northeast should brace for a “highly impactful” winter storm starting Wednesday — a weather wallop that could deliver enough powder to last long enough for the holidays, according to Accuweather.

As a powerful storm slamming the West Coast travels east, it could be responsible for anywhere from 6 to 10 inches of snow from Virginia to New York City and possibly into southern New England.

“It’s going to be kind of a fluffy kind of snow,” senior Accuweather meteorologist Tom Kines told The Post on Sunday.
