“Please, Strengthen Unity”
Hours before their son, HaTomim Menachem Mendel Moshiach OBM’s Levaya, his parents took a brave step and called to all Chasisdim: “Please, strengthen in Achdus [unity] amongst ourselves!”
A young Bochur Chaim Menachem Mendel Moshiach Of Blessed Memory, 13 years old, passed away this Friday. Two weeks ago he was hospitalized after having a sudden heart attack and his condition had been deteriorating ever since, many Minyanim all over the world were saying Tehillim for him.
Thursday night the doctors summoned his parents and informed them of a serious deterioration in his condition and Friday afternoon 1 PM he passed away.
Following his passing, only 12 hours before the funeral, his parents asked to speak to the Chabad media.
His mother Ayala spoke of the difficult moments that have been following them in recent weeks since their son was struck with the illness until Friday when he returned his soul to his Creator.
“We saw a lot of miracles,” she said. “The doctors themselves classified it as a miracle”. We believe that it was in the merit of the display of Ahavas Yisroel that Jews took upon themselves to improve their actions in the three spheres of Torah, Avodah and Gemilus Chasodim.
The interest that people from all over the world showed in our son surprised the family and the team of doctors as well. ”People were swarming in to the hospital without end. Bochurim his age came and put on Tefillin with people there. The doctor treating him after he got his heart attack said she tried resuscitating him for four hours. All the doctors almost gave up, no one believed he would survive, they said it was supernatural.
“We saw that the unity that prevailed as a result of his condition helped and worked wonders. We believe and request of all of you to strengthen in unity and Ahavas Yisroel, this will hasten the coming of Moshiach and will be a good deed in his memory.
We request all of Chabad Chasidim to unite: ordinary people like us as well as ”Askonim“ and leaders, please rise up over your differences.
The parents related that one of the letters that appeared when they opened an ”Igros Kodesh“ stated: ‘the reason for various events is disunity’.
”The team of doctors told us that they never saw so much concern displayed for someone that was hospitalized by them. His personal doctor took upon himself to don Tefillin daily. One of the non-Jewish nurses was so overwhelmed by the prayers and good deeds that his peers performed by his bed that her whole outlook on Judaism changed.

Obviously we have no idea why Hashem does these things, but we definately can learn from them.
Ahavas Yisroel is huge thing and to hear of the so many stories is wonderful. We all have to take upon ourselves to act and speak better to each other and have Ahavas Chinam. Love for another because he is a Jew. From the Rabbis to the kids in kindegarten.
Why do we have to wait for a tragedy to bring us together?
I hope we all learn from this and stregnthen our efforts in Ahavas Yisroel and may we not have learn from tragedies like this!!
May we merit the coming of Moshiach speedily in our days!!!

M“M a”h was a staunch member of the childrens’ minyan in 770. I was priveledged to be the Baal Koreh of that minyan the past year, and as a frequent recipient of the Kohen aliya, M“M a”h was often literally at my side. He will be missed.

To my fellow brothers and Chasiidm. How can we walk wasy form such an incident saying he will be missed , sad ,sad.Clearly thier is a lesson to take form this. The gemara says everything we witness is to teach us a Lesson. The Parents of this bachur are begging for us to unite.Enough Machlokes .Let us unite not be ripped apart.Pople may have opinions that we dont agree with but that shouldn lead to such a big split in Lubavitch .Let us unite .AHAVAS YISROEL AND UNITY IS THE ONLY KEY TO SUCCESS.In the zechus of this tomim lets increase in ahavas yisroel amongst ourselves.Menachem mendels father is a clear example of this.any one who sees him in 770 knows what im talking about .HE learns with the people that no one else would so easily be willin to .and what a simcha he does this with .Lets take action now .ITS UP TO YOU .I beg of you to teke my words to heart.
