An Evening on Nutrition with Hatzalah and Maimonides
Crown Heights, Brooklyn — In an evening entitled “Nutrition and You” members of the community gathered this past Wednesday evening in the hall of Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street to hear a lecture from medical experts on nutrition and for a raffle drawing.

The crowd received greeting from Mr. Mark McDougle, the Executive Vice President of Maimonides Medical Center following which they hear the miraculous story of recovery from Rabbi Levi Garelik after which they heard an extensive lecture on Nutrition from Dr. Elie Hamaoui M.D. the Medical Director of the Metabolic Support Service at Maimonides.
Following the lecture the raffle for $18,000 took place, tickets were available for purchase through the ad on this website as well as on Hatzalahs website Hatzalah.ch, the proceeds of which benefit Hatzalah by enabling them to purchase necessary medical equipment and maintain it.
The winner of the raffle was Shamai Salek from Crown Heights!
