CDC Issues ‘Domestic Travel Advisory’ for NY, NJ, CT

The CDC on Saturday night issued a domestic travel advisory for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut “effectively immediately,” just hours after President Donald Trump backed away from calling for a quarantine for the three coronavirus hotspots.

“Due to extensive community transmission of COIVD-19 in the area, CDC urges residents of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to refrain from non-essential domestic travel for 14 days effective immediately,” the CDC advisory read.
