Oholei Torah celebrates Fifty Years

Crown Heights has rarely seen a beautiful event such as it did this past Sunday, at Oholei Torah’s Gala Jubilee Dinner.

The hall, packed with over 1000 appreciative participants, enjoyed a scrumptious smorgasbord and a full sit-down dinner in the attractively decorated Oholei Torah Ballroom. Organized by the Dinner Committee, this elegant evening was full of love, respect and honor to the Mossad and its honorees

The Rebbe’s letter was read by Rabbi Eliezer Teitelbaum followed by the recitation of the Rebbe’s Kapitol by Rabbi Yitzchok M. Kramer. Shmuel Lobenstein, a bochur from the Oholei Torah Zal gave over an insightful Dvar Torah.

A heart warming presentation and video for Rebbetzin Esther Teitelbaum and Mrs. Sarah Deitsch was presented by Rabbi Rosenfeld.

In his inimitable fashion, the Guest of Honor, Rabbi Rosenfeld thanked all those who attended the dinner, and expressed gratitude to his devoted staff.

Also honored was a most impressive list of supporters who contributed to the Jubilee Campaign, and new comers to the Young Leadership Committee,

The evening was admirable chaired by a young member of our community, Yerachmeal Jacobson, and Berel Zucker entertained the crowd with chazzonus.

    How did OT pull off such a elegent affair? and how did they get everyone, from all sides to come and attend, and sit together, it almost reminds me of times before gimmel Tammuz?
