CGI Morristown Wraps Up Exciting First Week
Over 350 children in 5 divisions (boys, girls, kiddie, chayal and CIT) enjoyed a full range of activities, including sports and swim instruction, drama, arts, cooking and much more during their first week at Camp Gan Israel of Morristown, NJ. The highlights were the three trips: to FunZone, Glow in the Dark Golf and Imagine That.
A comprehensive summer learning program, which includes a curriculum prepared by Rabbi Yossi Berktin and guided by Rabbi Dovid Volfman, is enjoyed by all the children and counselors alike. The campers receive prizes and worksheets to take home for shabbos.
Children travel to camp from over a 30 mile radius and five different counties to attend the highly regarded and famous day camp.
Feedback from the parents has been extremely positive, featured by compliments to the staff and excitement from the schedule.
Directors Rabbi Mendy and Chana D. Solomon are celebrating their 20th summer at Gan Israel of Morristown. They are inspired by the enthusiasm of their staff and campers, and are excited for a memorable summer.
