Aliya Closes On Properties This Month

R. Moshe Feiglin watches as workers put final touches on the facade of the building earlier this year.

ALIYA (Alternative Learning Institute for Young Adults), under the banner of Chabad Inreach, will IY”H be closing on its new headquarters at 525-527 East New York Ave. this month.

These buildings will provide a base out of which we will continue to cater to the needs of our youth who aren’t being serviced by the Yeshiva system.

ALIYA provides these youth with a comfortable Bais Medrash & Shul where they can feel that they belong.

Aliya havs Shabbos and weekday minyanim and provide a full Kiddush after daveing each week which many rely on for their Seudos Sabbos.

Aliya has a Rabbi working full time with our youth arranging Shiurim and Chavrusos.

ALIYA also provides:
Professional counselors around the clock to help our youth with emotional, family and addiction-related difficulties.
Employment opportunities for our youth who are in need of a job.
GED program offering our youth with an opportunity to get their high school diplomas.

In addition to these current activities, in our new premises we will also have a fully equipped gymnasium, youth lounge and a computer room.

B”H the Crown Heights Jewish community has grown stronger in many ways. Unfortunately however, the numbers of our youth in need have too.

ALIYA has been working effectively with this demographic for the past 5 years and we have achieved great success through the programs we offer. We are looking forward to having even more success now that we also have a home to offer.

Dedication bricks on the “Wall of Honor” are available starting from $500. All other assistance is also greatly appreciated.
