As a teacher in a boys high school, I say if boys are breaking into the kitchen to eat, it means they are hungry! Give them more food!

One thing morristown does well: The food their Rocks!.. becuase the Cook (Chef really) cares for the bochurim like his own kids.

    GO DOVID SOLOMON!!!

  • Starving bochurim

I completely agree that bochurim are NOT fed properly. I know some of them have to go to friends’ homes in crown heights and ask for food. It is outrageous.

THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO WERE LIVING IN THE 18 CENTRY HAD NO UNDERSTANDING OF BOCHRIM THE FOOD WAS HELD IN THE PANTRY TILL IT ROTTED AND THEN SERVED WHEN U DONT EAT U DONT LEARN AND HUNDEREDS OF BOCHRIM JUST WAISTED THIER TIME IN 770 BECUASE OF THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE

  • history repeats itself ...

    THEN
when my elter ziedy ( may he live till 120) was on yeshiva the bochurim were fed properly ( due to the poverty)the bochurim went on strike from eating and only learnt all day. my alter zeidy went to the mother of the frierdiker rebbe ( who was the menahel) & showed a piece of meat which was said to be so thin u could c thru it the rebbetzin “rebuked” the frierdiker rebbe saying how can u give this to the bochutim to eat????

    NOW!!!
nowadays its similar the eating conditions aren’t the best but when the bochurim go on strike its from learning unlike then when they went on strike from eating!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe bochurim should make a delegation to their menahel to plead hei case if they-re not satisfied with the food they have ( which n russia/poland would be considered a feast but were too spoiled to ever be happy!!!!!)

well im a girl and even i liked the morristown yeshiva food. So bochrim, who in my opinion are lacking in some taste buds (they eat anything, good or rotten,) would for sure eat it. any way about it dovid solomon is a good cook. and i agree with dovid solomon fan: it si the one and ONLY thing morristown does well.
