Shea Mendlowitz is Turning to the Public for New Music
One of the biggest names in the Jewish music business, noted producer Sheya Mendlowitz is turning to the public for material to be used in a major upcoming production that is currently in the planning stages.
Few details are known about the project and Mendlowitz’s Facebook status indicates that he is asking the public to submit original compositions within the next 24 hours for a major recording and grand stage production. Mendlowitz, a veteran producer, has produced dozens of concerts and some of the biggest names in music including Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried in addition to founding the HASC concert series. His most recent concert, The Event, held at Madison Square Garden in 2009 was completely sold out.
In an exclusive interview with VIN News, Mendlowitz declined to release additional details saying only that the project would “provide many people who are serious about the talents that the Ribono Shel Olam gave them, with the opportunity to show those talents.”
Mendlowitz promised that more details about this exciting event would be released shortly.

Shea Mendlowitz is one of the most influential people on the Jewish music scene today, he is very much responsible for the state of Jewish music now.
I’d say he ranks right up there with MBD, Avraham Fried, Yossi Green, Yisroel Lamm etc.
