Stabbing On Brooklyn Ave.

At around 5:00pm amid the parade and celebrations a Black male pulled a large knife and stabbed another Black male in the leg. The perp was immediately arrested by a few of the many cops posted up all along that block. It is unclear what sparked this incident. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

    You know maybe they shouldnt allow the parade. Besides the whole day my siblings dont go out because its like the wilderness on labor day. and everyone has to suffer from their crazy music. They dont deserve it.

    at least they found the perp . it isnt so bad it could have been worse.i agree with "does any one agree? " there music is too loud plus they wake you up and its scary .its not fair to the little kids.

    as another of the labor day victims of car break ins I would like to request of all the others in the same situation, if you haven’t done so yet, please go to the police and file a complaint. I dialled 911 and the police were here within five minutes and took a full detailed report and gave me a number to call for my complaint number. If a council member can go to the higher ups demanding more protection and they see more complaints they will be more prone to listen to our demands and maybe do something about it.

    The Daily News every year reports on this parade as if it were a wonderful…family oriented event. People who live or work in the area know the truth…It’s like wild kingdom…why doesn’t the media report the truth rather than what they want everyone to believe? They should be ashamed of themselves…

    I was walking down brooklyn ave. last night and saw bloodied shirt and socks. I wondered what had happened in that area. thanx for taking care of my curiousity.
    But, hey. Why did they have to leave that stuff there. It’s dangerous to leave bloody things around. It could transmit deseases chas v’shalom.

    good thing labor day only comes once a year for all the stuff we need to go through I could not do that twice.

    Stop complaning we do the samething every year at sukkos we have the music that is annoying and i can’t sleep maybe they should cancel that at least the labor day parade is a one day thing and it happens once a year
