Principal Leadership Program for Women!

Drawing on the success of the recent Principal Leadership Program, the Menachem Education Foundation is proud to announce that we are opening application for our Principal Leadership Program for Women.

The program will follow a similar schedule to the men’s program, meeting for 16 full days during the year and containing 16 hours of one-on-one coaching including a visit to each participating school. The program is focused on developing instructional leadership skills that will help principals focus and improve student learning. All the learning is hands-on group based work that is rooted in the realities of participating schools. Participants will practice methods of observing and assessing student learning and develop a strategic plan for improving their school.

The NYC Leadership Academy will facilitate this program again this year. Additionally, Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum is being trained to co-facilitate the program in order to help the program meet the needs of Yeshiva principals better. Additionally, this will build the capacity of the Menachem Foundation to continue running leadership programs in the future.

The program is opened to current principals of Jewish day schools who desire to improve their schools and students. The cost of the program is largely subsidized by the Menachem Foundation, leaving a minor portion for the school to cover. An early bird discount of $500.00 is available to qualified applicants.
