Rock Throwing and an Attempted Mugging
At 4:15pm yesterday Shomrim received a call complaining about 3 black youths in the alleyway of Crown and Montgomery between Brooklyn and New York throwing rocks at houses, members responded immediately and blocked both exits of the alleyway but couldn’t find them. Another member responding spotted the group on Brooklyn and President where they attempted to throw something at the Shomrim members car.
All the members in the area went to that location and attempted to speak to the group of youths who upon approach began running away, one of whom stopped and was given a fierce warning, following which he ran away as well.
Following that a different group of black youths attempted to mug a Bochur on Eastern Parkway between Albany and Troy, members who were still in the area caught up with the group but they couldn’t identify the perp that actually attempted to mug the Bochur, leaving them with no choice but to let them go.
We would like to warn Residents that summer is here, most of these youths have no camp to attend to so they roam the streets bored and look for things to do, which generally ends up to no good, if you see something say something call Shomrim at (718) 774-3333 24/7. Be Careful and be Sensible!

And why wasn’t the NYPD called? Can Shomrim attempt (with safety in mind) to get face shots of these punk perps? Maybe post their photos all over the place!

Next time take your stinkin’ cars and run the punks down like they do in Williamsburg! They’re on bikes and in the street, so put the pedal to the metal and give them a good taste of your bumper!

Stop only calling Shomrim call 911 as well and before, they can arrest people, 911 can recongnize crime patters turn these pics over, shomrim is great but only in conjunction with PD, you MUST call PD

How sad that this is how and where we live. My 8-year old daughter recently got a new bike for her birthday. I had to sit down with her and tell her what to do (and not to do) if someone tries to take it while she’s on it. How depressing is that! But those are the choices we make by living here.

i was walking yesterday and 3 kids were kicking cars as they passed (they wanted to hitch a ride), i saw some jewish lady practicaly running away (crown & troy). sad.
I suggest walking tall, showing no fear…

Taking some self defence classes wouldnt hurt.
I know there are some guys giving them, there should be some classes for women too.
We shouldnt live in fear…we should make a stand like in the old days…catch the kids…take them somewhere and imprint a message all over them..if u know what i mean.

to worried first of all what yeshiva second i think you should come but where ever you walk have someone with you aviod big or even small crouds of goyim and dont walk out for no good reason plus your basicly coming for mostly winter its not so bad here in the winter but if you think it is not a good ideah to come here than dont

Are the pictures of these black youths the actual perps? If not, why do you, CrownHeightsInfo, publish pics of just any black youths? This might be construed as some sort of racist journalism. And if they ARE the perps, why didn’t you (whoever took the pics, of course) guys catch the SOB’s?? You got their pics, and presumably you gave it to the Police! How much more do the rocket scientist Police dept need to catch them? Do all schvartzes look alike?
