“In the Farbrengen of Chayei Sara 5752, the Rebbe issued each of us a challenge: To prepare oneself and the entire world for the imminent arrival of Moshiach,” explained Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Director of the Kinus HaShluchim. “It’s about time we rise to the challenge in a comprehensive and organized way.”

With those rousing opening words, the gathered assembly of forty Shluchim and rabbis began an open and candid discussion of project ideas and general strategies.

“The Rebbe is looking at this group right here with tremendous nachas,” Rabbi Kotlarsky declared. “Whatever practical ideas you come up with, I guarantee that we will find a way to make it happen.”

After the presentation of many dynamic program concepts and thought-provoking insights, it was decided that a survey of Shluchim would be conducted to ascertain the impact of the GMC’s current projects, and to assess future needs. Once the survey is complete and the data compiled, the group will reconvene for a more extensive session that will decide on changes to current programs and the creation of programs.
