Rabbi Engl I had the zechus being a rebbe ten years together with RABBI ENGL. from my class the next year they went to his class. I must tell you friends he was given over to the childrem with all his heart and mind . he realy loved the kids and gave them all his heart .a kid who was weak he tought him privatly for free durig any time he just found, the parents did not even know about it . kids of broken homes he used to hug and kiss gave them the attention they missed at home. he should be a example how a real teacher shoud be . OHOLEI TORAH should make for him a goo by SE’UDO a sighn of recognition, lot’s of luck to you OHOLEI TORA

    R. Engel heard that my son was really upset becouse he did not have a "real" Zeide , R.Engel became a loving , caring substitute . He came to his class , broght him candy ,and the most important lisend to him. Like lots of other boys my son was taken on the spesial shopping trip. He was so happy to get all the new clouse , but to do it with the Zeide !
It is a pity that R. Engel is livin Crown Heights. We wish him well and will miss him.

  • Hallo,You missed the main scoop!

Hi, I dont mean to find negetivity in the Mosed in which Rabbi Engel Sheyichye gave so much of his is life, but it hurts alot , that someone should have to remind & ask for Rabbi Engel to be honored, & to be recognized.

It’s really an attitude problem, over the years there were other mlamdim who left (unrecognized) & are just gone with the wind!

Recognition is something that is crutial for every current Melame, (and every human being). No need to wait until one has left the Mosad.

I truly feel that constant recognition would enhance and motivate Melamdim to be more like Rabbi Engel.

As you can tell by the spelling and grammer they stay oholei torah boys forever. Rabbi Engel is a special teacher it’s a shame that we only realize how much so when he is leaving. Much Hatzlacha in everything you do.

I remember the class staying late once a week, and learning of Pirkei Avohs and the "Siyums" that took place afterwards with the very large cake. We did not mind at all staying late that day. The learning by heart of the Mah Nishtana in Yiddish on those colorful pages. Rabbi Engel had just the right balance of Chesed and Gevurah to keep me interested in learning, scared to fall asleep or misbehave, and motivated and interested.
