Friendship Circle Announces Second Annual Conference
Friendship Circles across the United States and Canada are now outperforming their past successes and with their exponential growth, the network of Friendship Circles has announced the Second Annual Friendship Circle Conference.
The conference will take place on July 2nd and 3rd. it is being hosted this year by the Friendship Circle of Livingston, N.J.
The conference is being organized by The Friendship Circle Division at The Shluchim Office, which coordinates and assists the efforts of Friendship Circles worldwide. This conference is great for Shluchim and Shluchos who currently run a Friendship Circle, as well as those, who are interested in starting one in their city. The conference will offer dual track sessions. One will focus on starting a Friendship Circle in your city, while the second will offer valuable guidance on advancing your current Friendship Circle programs.
For those Shluchim interested in starting a Friendship Circle, this is a chance to get a full run down on how to start a Friendship Circle, as well as getting tips and ideas from different Shluchim who run existing Friendship Circles. “Shluchim and Shluchos are eagerly awaiting the conference, for its plethora of great ideas” said Mrs. Bassie Shemtov cofounder and Director of The Friendship Circle. “As well as the opportunity to network with Shluchim who run Friendship Circles in other cities.”
The Friendship Circle was established in 1994 by Lubavitch Foundation of Michigan and to date there are 35 worldwide. The Friendship Circle has a unique approach to helping families of children with special needs. Its innovative programming and activities fosters a relationship between community teenagers and the children by drawing on the love, energy and dynamics of our teenage population.
