It sounds like these guys are from a Kolel but their not, they are Two Bochurim from Yeshiva Ateres Menachem of Ottawa,HaTemimim Yakov Lefton and Michoel Weisz together with their Teacher Berel Zaklikofsky that came after a long year of Learning and tests. The Bochurim will be finishing the entire Mesechta Megilah before the year is over, this is a continuation of learning two Mesechtas of Baba Kamma and Pesachim. They started in the beginning of this year in early Kislev and they have been trucking ever since, As soon as the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Berger heard of the good news he offered the Bochurim that they will get Tested by Prominent Rabbonim and thereby receive rewards if they finish before the School year, which ends on the 25th of Sivan.

What makes even more unique is, that these Bochurim didn’t learn it through the regular Gemara Seder, they actually sat down and learnt the material while the rest of the Yeshiva was enjoying the Vocational Studies on the other side of town, but nothing made a difference to them they just sat and learnt the whole time as if nothing happened.
“This is the first time such a thing happened since the establishment of this Yeshiva in 1999” says Berel Zaklikofsky “I was told by Rabbi Berger that this is going to be a new beginning for this Yeshiva and it might be a bit hard..in the end it was the biggest Hatzlacha for me and most important of all for them and for the Yeshiva.”, besides they never gave up hope despite some comments here and there as Michoel and Yaacov said “Everyone was telling us, you guys will not last but we proved them wrong…in a big way”.
The Bochurim plan on making a little Farbrengen in their Honor as well as private ones with the family and friends when they return home. It is known the great Zechus it is to finish and complete a part in Torah and to make it a joyous time for them and their loved ones.
