Kings County Hospital Opens New Multimillion Dollar Emergency Room
Kings County Hospital, which is considered among the best in New York City for emergency trauma care, has just completed construction of a multimillion dollar facility, set to open June 8th, which will service the community with a state of the art new emergency room complex.
Rabbi Avrohom Lider of the Ahavas Chesed organization, who serves as Jewish Chaplain to the hospital, was on hand May 16th when the hospital conducted a tour of the new facility. Crown Heights doctors, Hatzalah members, and others who will make referrals to Kings County’s new emergency room were guided about the modern, spacious premises by Rabbi Lider, who also arranged for kosher refreshments to be served.
“Everyone was very impressed with the new facility,” said the chaplain. “They felt they could be confident bringing patients here, knowing they will receive even better care than Kings County has always provided, owing to this advanced new emergency room. Kings County Hospital is committed to developing its warm relationship with the Jewish community of Crown Heights, and pledges to continue its efforts to service our needs.”
