MyShliach to Shluchim: Bring Home Gift for Your Children
Next week’s Kinus Hashluchim will bring to Crown Heights an influx of shluchim coming to recharge and reconnect with their comrades around the world.
The Kinus also affords shluchim the opportunity to stock up on resources for their Chabad Houses.
“Shluchim come to New York and stock up on physical supplies,” says Sima Simmonds, Coordinator of MyShliach’s Chayolei Tzivos Hashem Division. “But we’re thinking of the shluchim’s children and the spiritual resources their fathers can take back for them.”
To that end, MyShliach is offering shluchim exclusive access to the brand new, magnificent Rebbe Album that is set to be out in stores later this year.
Beautifully packaged in a velvet-lined case, the Rebbe Album includes a fascinating and detailed history of 770 spread throughout the album. This emphasis on 770 is a special project in honor of the year 5770. In addition, there are spaces for the 320 Rebbe stickers that children can earn through the Tzivos Hashem program.
Sima says, “Shluchim whose children are registered in MyShliach’s Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program by Monday before the Kinus will be able to pick up an entire startup package when they arrive. It includes rank medal books, rank ID cards, and the stunning Rebbe Album. What an opportunity to bring home a chassidishe gift that will last throughout the year and for years after.”
MyShliach is a project of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch that delivers programming to shluchim’s children who may not have access to a mainstream Lubavitch community. Chayolei Tzivos Hashem adds a special atmosphere of chassidishkeit to the homes of shluchim with various campaigns such as Tehillim, yomei d’pagra, Tanya baal peh, hiskashrus, mivtzoim, niggunim, avos ubanim and veholachto bidrochov. Basic membership is $36 for the entire year, or $50 for a full membership.

hafatza within the mayanos
I love the shluchim, I’m proud of them and their efforts, accomplishments, etc. At the same time, how come all these efforts, programs, funding, and agencies are done for the shluchim, yet the communities, full of baal teshuvas made by the shluchim (and others), get little to none of the same attention; and boy does it show. If only we took some of the same effort, creativity, and resources used on behalf of the shluchim to make our chabad communities the way can and must be.
Daughter of baal teshuva
As a daughter of a baal teshuvah I agree with you. I am now a shlucha and I realize what is available for our children which is AMAZING, but what about everyone else?
Its not only for shluchim
To hatatza within mayanos and Daughter of baal teshuva:
This program is not only for shluchim, its for all chabad children in all chabad communities. Most schools in CH and around the world are part of it!
