At first it was dancing with out a fire, then a barrel was rolled in and the fire began burning, up into the early hours of the morning. Then FDNY arrived to assist in putting out the fire, but the dancing continued…

At first they didn’t block off the street. But when we started the fire the cops came and blocked off the street.

I remember bonfires before Gimmel Tammuz as well. My last Lag Beoimer in CH before this one was actually in nun aleph and I remember the fires very well.

just because mr. rapp decided to make fires does not make it a minhag chabad. chabd is the rebbe, if the rebbe was never misyachus to it then its not lubavitch. (the same goes for igros and all other new inventions).
and i enjoy the music on your site, it is the only radio that i found decent jewish music.
