Tzivos Hashem’s Lag BaOmer Kumzits
Around 200 children and Bochurim gathered at 8:30pm in front of the Wingate high school located on Kingston Ave and Rutland Rd for a special Lag BaOmer program. Police shutdown the block and enabled Tzivos Hashem to make a Bonfire and seat everyone in front of it. Hotdogs and cans of soda were served and the kids were treated to a special program with Chaim Fogelman who sang songs and told stories about Lag BaOmer.

Kol haKovod to Tzivos Hashem! Any light, as we experience the birth-pangs of the Geula, are welcome. 200 is surely a splendid turnout in many places, but in the Rebbe’s sh’chuna…? Those responsible for the event deserve great credit for a truly great effort and beautiful outcome and should be encouraged to publicize their events with even greater enthusiasm in the future! The envy, hatred, and fear of another group of Yidden must never interfere with simcha; certainly on Lag b’Omer that is the ikkur.
