At around 9:20 pm tonight, Motzoai Shabbos, a Member of Shomrim and his father were walking down Kingston Ave. toward Lefferts Ave.. As they past 451 Kingston, a large building (the one with the 2 fires in one day), a group of black teens attacked and assaulted them. The Shomrim member called for help and other members responded immediately and forced them back. Police were called and responded in large numbers, but would not apprehend anyone, in fear on a riot.

B"H the other Shomrim members responded in time to prevent any serious injuries. This incident came just a few minutes after the first assault where a Lubavitcher was punched in the face.

We would like to warn all residents that there has been a major increase in muggings and random violent assaults at all hours of the day, some of it may be gang related, therefore we would like to warn everyone to be extremely vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times. Don't venture out late unless absolutely necessary. If you see something say something, call Shomrim at (718) 774-3333 24/7.

    What a weak government/police department! Afraid of a riot! Hath not the government any teeth? No law efforcement=the criminals will get tougher and crime will escalate (G-d forbid). Let the Jews go out and take the law into their own hands and then threaten to riot! If the government lets the criminals go loose I will riot (or very strong protest). This is the USA? Where’s the pioneers? Hashgacha Pratis, we see in Ethics of the Fathers (Pirke Avos that we started to learn again) that if not for fear of the government people would swallow each other alive!

    A few jews should put on ski masks and go and attack them from behind, just like they did to us. If it happens to them, maybe they’ll realize that they should be scared and stop doing these things. We need to fight back! Obviously the PD aren’t going to help us out. Things are just getting way too out of hand around here.

    Now if someone knew that this is a gang issue, and we find out which gang, then im sure there would be a group of bochurim who would be more then happy to take care of the situation :p
    Or then again we can turn info in to the authorities. Like normal law abiding citizens.

    The bear minimum is for CH residents to arm themselves with tasers and the like. in this the perps can be held for the shomrim and the like.

    why cant we walk our own streets our own neighbourhood where this is the HQ for lubavitch , these shvartzes are not fromthis area and on drugs and crack gang related. shomrim should have more units , the police should also have a presence on kingston especially after shabbos and on jewish holidays.
