A Brooklyn man is accused of fatally shooting his uncle six times because he was convinced his uncle was stealing his mail, police said.

David Husband, 69, worked as a superintendent in a Crown Heights building on President St. between Troy and Schenectady, where his 27-year-old nephew shared his apartment, police said.

Police said the nephew, Orangel S. Hill, called police at 12:41 a.m. Wednesday, saying he had just shot his uncle.

A Brooklyn man is accused of fatally shooting his uncle six times because he was convinced his uncle was stealing his mail, police said.

David Husband, 69, worked as a superintendent in a Crown Heights building on President St. between Troy and Schenectady, where his 27-year-old nephew shared his apartment, police said.

Husband was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

Police said Hill told them that Husband had been stealing his mail.

Police said Hill bought a 9-mm handgun on Tuesday.

    I think there should be video cameras on every block in C.H., so that anything that happens should be recorded. It’s not so hard or expensive, it’s only 6 by 9 or such blocks, and it would definitely add alot of security etc. It’s 2006!

    i live by president and utica and i saw all the cops squad team and ambulences at around 1:00 am by the corner on utica and i saw them take out a body on a strecher and the cops said that some guy got shot many times so is this the same story and there is a mistake in the report or this was a different story which happened bet. troy and schenectady anybody knows
