Cyprus Celebrates Pesach As Never Before!

In addition, Chabad of Cyprus has supplied many Jews with hand backed shmurah matzah and wine. The matzah has reached every major city on the island, including Limossol, Pafos and Lafkosia. Chabad has also organized containers of pesach products form Israel to be available in Cyprus.
This year is the first time that Jewish prisoners in Cyprus will be able to receive matzah and grape juice for pesach. This is something that means very much to the Jewish inmates, one has even considered going on a hunger strike if he would be denied the matzah. The prison warden has called the shliach and expressed interest in organizing the same service for other Jewish holidays as well.
The activities in Cyprus have been made possible through a grant from Merkoz Leinyonei Chinuch, organized by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, who has been helping the Chabad Center of Cyprus since its establishment.
