  As an investor from out of town with investments in Crown Heights too, I can only add that while these "problems" are prevelant all across the nation and a daily occurance in many other areas, is still not good enough for Lubavitch though.
  I truly believe you guys need to implement some sort of a "chaptzem" system and emulate what is done in the W. In addition the council with all its issues should grab a handle of this once and for all before it gets out of hand. No one is leaving CH, with all its blessings for such reasons as it is not safer in other areas, but something needs to be done overall in the name of all the many good folks in the CH, and the rebbe’s legacy which lives on forever.

  When will this stop and the police will finally realize they are here to protect our neighborhood, not just to give us tickets. Yesterday afternoon, I saw 3 cops in a group, going up and down Montgomery Street, measuring cars’ distances to hydrants, curves, etc., just to give tickets! Our complaints are obviously falling on deaf ears. I think it’s time to go higher than the 71st precinct!

  Why are people always looking for someone to be at fault, the only way it seems this issue can be solved is by working together, the community that is, yes i know that might be asking for too much, unfortunately, we are blind by the fact that the police cannot be relied upon it’s not about the tickets that is preventing them from safe guarding our community rather it’s the lack of reason i don’t know what the reason can be but one thing is for certain and that is these beatings/muggings are happening time after time. the only way this can be prevented it seems is through forming our own shmira which apparently we already have, if only someone can officially take charge as opposed to having 5 different CEO’s which will most definitely not last as we’ve seen from past experiences. all the very best and good luck to us all.

  Demonstration and rioting might be a solution but give the cops a week or so to find the perp. I think that vigilante justice is better then no justice. But legal justice is ideal

  first of all, to ATT ALL ABLE BODIED MEN-
  who should they sign up with? why don’t you take out a pen and paper, make a rotation chart, and have people sign up with you? we can’t keep saying "let’s…" if no one’s willing to take charge. a patrol, as opposed to just beating up random shvartzes, is a much better idea because we don’t lose our dignity yet we protect ourselves.
