After the whole debacle of where and when this meeting was going to take place, we finally got it down.

If you or someone you know received a ticket of not wearing a seatbelt or using a cell phone while driving from P.O. Kennedy (Car#1474) and feels that you are not guilty let your voice be heard.

Please attend the meeting which will be in the 71st Precinct on the second floor in the Community Affairs Room (Located on Empire Blvd. & New York Ave.) this evening [Thursday] February 23rd at 7:00pm. local officials as well as NYPD 71st precinct officials will be present at the meeting

    so much for our veice being heard………..i went to this meeting and all the police did was deny every thing well not really deny that it happend but as if nothing was wrong with it………..anyone who said any thing about how this is redicules……….the police just justified them selves…………..they just arent willing to listen!

    Please post developments and outcomes of the meeting. I was unable to make it but being a victim of this witch and witnessing her obvious racial profiling, I would be interested in hearing the results. I am glad that people are aware and acting against it. It is my hope that this madness, insanity and possibly illegal behavior on her part be stopped immediately by her superiors!

    I attended the meeting. Here’s the bottom line: Jacobs Goldstein is the most respected local government leader in the community. He observed "selective enforcement" and related incidents to Inspector Vega. The NYPD are going to respond to Goldstein, as well as the verifiable claims made by others at the meeting. Insp. Vega acknowledged that several allegatons may have violated NYPD rules. He would not announce changes at the meeting, nor could he as a CO of a precinct. That violates rules. Most of the complaints appeared legitimate. Some were not, because the proponents did not know the law.
    CHJCC Boad Member Tzvi Lang indicated to the group that this was a first step meeting, part of a process, and that we have to hear back from the NYPD in the near future. That commitment was made by the Inspector.

    i do understand that the meeting was a big joke!!
    worst of all,our dear jewish captain Daniel Sosnowick of the 71 pct. was the one most against listening to the crown hights side of the story!
    and trying to make this ongoing ordeal look like no big deal,and the 2 officers in question are right in doing what they did.
    at this point i would like to ask my dear crown hights neighbors what is going to happen now???
    for 1- i think the 2 officers in question must be transferred NOW or told to go home!!
    no#2- i think captain Sosnowick most transferred out of this 71 pct.!!! he lacks the expierence and the interest for our crown hights community. i hope and wish that only good, lies ahead for the whole crown hights community.i wish all a very happy purim.

    do you think that the NYPD is run like Chanina would run an office? Sosnowick is a terrific Yid and a cop, too. If he did as you said, he’d be a yid out of a job, follow the rules chaver! Give them a chance, then you can hyperventilate.

    however sad to say that officer Sosnowick thinks that he is a cop first then a yid!!! thats a fact!
